Tsavo West National Park lies in a central position between the Swahili Coast and the Kenyan Highlands. You can fly or drive to Finch Hattons Camp. The main highway between Mombasa and Nairobi effectively separates the West and East sections of the great Tsavo National Park.
From Tsavo West you can visit a number of other parks nearby such as Tsavo East, Taita Hills, Chyulu and Amboseli. The Southeastern safari circuit can be linked with northern parks such as Samburu, Shaba and Aberdares.
There is an all-weather airstrip about 10 minutes drive from Finch Hattons. You can take a daily scheduled flight from Nairobi Wilson Airport, Mombasa Airport and Ukunda Airport to this airstrip; they are all early morning connections which take 1 hour.
