There are 20 en-suite tents with handcrafted furnishings and antique writing desks at this Tsavo safari camp. Tamarind trees provide shade and each tent is set under a thatched shelter. There are 16 family tents and 4 suites at Satao Camp with great rates for children between 2 and 12 years of age.
Each tent is spacious with slate floors in the en-suite bathroom, which has double built in basins, running water and a flush toilet. Hot water is brought in the evening for use in the novel safari shower. All tents have a veranda with a table and chairs for reading, relaxing and game viewing.
You can look forward to delicious meals at Satao Camp. Breakfast is your choice of either Continental or Full English – tuck in to fresh seasonal fruits, omelettes and pancakes.... yum! At lunchtime you’ll find the tables set up under a Tamarind tree that is 200 years old. Dinners are served in the restaurant and lounge area. Vegetarian meals and other special requirements can be catered for with advance notice prior to arrival.
