Elerai Camp is located in the Kitenden wildlife corridor, an ancient pathway for animals moving between Kilimanjaro and Amboseli. A Kenya lodge safari at Elerai Camp will directly benefit the local community and help to conserve this sensitive wildlife zone.
The Elerai Community has partnered with Elerai Camp and the African Wildlife Foundation to create a project which aims to provide long term income from tourism for the local Maasai and at the same time, conserve the land and wildlife. The Elerai Community and Wildlife Trust has been set up so that donations can benefit the community and wildlife directly.

Elerai Camp is situated just 10km (6.2 miles) south of the Amboseli National Park in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro, near the border of Tanzania. The lodge is set in a private conservation area which covers 5 000 acres.
Guests on scheduled flights from Nairobi or Mombasa arriving into Amboseli National Park airstrip can be transferred to Elerai Camp (90 minute drive). Charter flights can land at Elerai Camp's own airstrip which is 15 minutes from the lodge.
