This traditional Kenya safari camp is very comfortable but also unobtrusive and kind to the environment. No noisy generators to scare the resident Lion pride or disturb you in your blissful safari experience. Elephant Pepper Camp enjoys a secluded setting within a grove of trees overlooking the Mara Plains. This Kenya camp is situated next to a waterhole and the surrounding grass is rich in salt which attracts many Elephants.
Your days will be filled with exciting safari activities that take place in a protected and private conservancy close to the Mara River. Picnic baskets are popular for breakfast on morning game drives and also for lunch during the migration season on extended all-day game drives. The Mara plains are alive with game and even more so from July through to October.
Mara North Conservancy is big cat territory but you could also see Hyena as well as Elephant, Buffalo, Giraffe, Wildebeest and Zebra. Back at camp after romantic sundowners in the bush you can enjoy delicious meals including fine Italian recipes handed down through the generations such as Osso Bucco and Melanzane Parmigiana, plus homemade pasta and salads using organic produce.
