The Porini Mara Camp is situated on the game rich plains of the Ol Kinyei Conservancy in the Masai Mara Kenya. It is considered to be one of the most beautiful regions in the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem.

The Mara Porini Camp is located on the privately owned Ol Kinyei conservancy which is owned by the local Maasai community. It is adjacent to the Masai Mara National Reserve and is home to a wide variety of animal species, especially plains game. The conservancy is also home to a large resident pride of Lions.

By Road

The camp is 18 kilometres (11 miles) from the Maasai Mara park boundary. The Ol Kinyei Conservancy is 250 kilometres (155 miles) from Nairobi, a journey which should take approximately 4 hours by road.

By Air

The conservancy has its own airstrip which accepts privately chartered flights. There are daily scheduled flights between Nairobi and the Mara to Siana Airstrip which is located about 16 kilometres (9.8 miles) from camp.
