This Masai Mara camp is a traditional tented camp that has all the modern amenities. The tents are each individually decorated and are furnished with either twin or double beds. Electricity is provided by solar panels. This Kenya bush camp has a well-appointed en-suite bathroom that has a WC and a heated shower.
Dining at Richards Camp is always a special affair and meals are usually eaten al fresco except for during the occasional bouts of wet weather when meals are taken in the comfortable dining room. The lodge has a cosy lounge with plush couches where guests can curl up with a book between safaris. In the evening guests can enjoy a special bath. Tucked away in a forest clearing, surrounded by flickering candles is a deep Victorian bath tub which is perfect for a long lingering soak.
There is a separate private camp situated a short drive away from the main camp. It offers a secluded retreat for a family or group travelling together. It sleeps 10 guests and is built in a sustainable manner entirely out of canvas.
