On a walking safari you will notice the difference between being in a vehicle and experiencing the bush on foot. Feel your senses sharpen and try and pick up evidence of the wildlife. The Masai guides will teach you about tracking and animal behaviour as well as help point out the many species of birds that occur in the region.
Serain is situated in a private conservancy, which means that off road driving is permitted, this means that the guides can take you closer to the animals for excellent sightings. Exciting night game drives are also permitted providing the opportunity to see the regions nocturnal animals such as Leopard and Lion preparing for the nights hunt.
The hot air balloon safari starts early in the day with a pre-dawn departure from Serain Camp. Watch as the balloon inflates in the pre dawn. Then board and cast off drift above the tops of the Acacias as the Sun slowly floods the landscape with light. Spot animals such as herds of Wildebeest, Elephant and Zebra on the savannahs. Follow the winding Mara River below and see Hippo. After approximately an hour the balloon will land and you will enjoy a champagne breakfast in the bush.
